For food, beverage, supplement and cosmetics plants

Catch the wrong label before it ships.

A camera and AI over your packing line check every pack against the SKU you're running: the right label for flavor, size and allergens, and a lot and date code that's there and readable. Bad packs get flagged in real time, and every pack is logged for your audits.

The free test

See what it catches on your own line.

Nothing to install and nothing to pay. It takes about ten minutes of your time.

  1. Film one line for 2 minutes

Any phone works. Point it at the packs right after labeling and coding, close enough to read the label.

  2. Mix in 3–5 wrong packs

A wrong flavor or size label, a pack with no date code, a smudged code. Tell us which ones if you like.

  3. Get results in one business day

We send back what the camera flagged, pack by pack, with timestamps. Free.

If you want it on the line afterwards: a 30-day pilot on one line is $1,500, camera included.

What it checks

Every pack, against the SKU you're running.

Tell it which product is on the line and it checks each pack that passes the camera. When a label changes, it learns the new one from a few photos. No retraining project.

  • Right label for the SKU

Flavor, variant and size match what's running. A peanut butter label on the almond butter run gets flagged.

  • Allergen line

The "Contains" statement is on the pack and matches the product inside.

  • Lot and date code

Present and readable: not missing, smudged, faded or cut off.

  • A record of every pack

A photo, the result and the time for each pack, kept as an audit log for your label-control records.

  • Alerts your operator in real time
  • No integrator needed
  • Set up in a day

In our tests

300 real product photos, with errors planted in them.

Wrong flavor and size labels, allergen lines removed or changed, date codes removed or smudged. The best test is your own line, which is why the first one is free.

US food recalls in 2024 were caused by label errors, the leading cause. 84% of those were undeclared allergens.

Why it matters

One wrong label can mean a recall.

A label roll from yesterday's run, a missed changeover, a coder that ran dry. Spot checks catch some of it; a camera on every pack catches it as it happens and keeps the photo.

  • 21 CFR 117.135

Food allergen controls include labeling the finished food so it isn't misbranded.

  • 21 CFR 111.415

Supplement makers must control packaging and labeling, including examining packaged and labeled product.

FAQ

Questions plants ask us

How fast can our line run?

We check every pack at up to about 3 packs a second (180 a minute). Above that, we'd run the model on the camera itself. Send a video either way and we'll tell you what we see.

What does setup involve?

One camera mounted over the line after labeling and coding, plus power and a network connection. No integrator and no PLC work for the pilot: it alerts your operator. Rejecting packs automatically can come later through your integrator, only if you want it. Set up in a day.

Do we have to train it on every SKU?

No. Send your approved label artwork or a few photos of each SKU. When a label changes, it learns the new one from a few photos.

What happens to our video?

We use it only to run your test and send you the results. It's stored privately, isn't shared, and is deleted within 30 days unless you ask us to keep it. Privacy policy

Is our data private?

Yes. Your video, pack photos and logs are used only to run your inspection. We don't share them with other companies or use them in our marketing.

Does it replace our label checks?

No. It's a second set of eyes on every pack, with a photo log, and it doesn't get tired at 2 AM. Your team stays in charge of the line.

What does it cost?

The test is free. If you want it on the line after that, a 30-day pilot on one line is $1,500, camera included.
